Job description

Main purpose of job:  To ensure the efficient administration of new member applications and general membership, acting as an ambassador for the Society, delivering exceptional service in every member exchange.

Main duties:

  • Import new members details onto the Society’s administration portal, working to targets set by the manager to input members per hour/week.

  • Maintain and update existing members records using the Society CRM system.

  • Maintain all record and accounts, liaises with other departments to ensure information is cascaded on time.

  • Deal with membership queries for all members and colleague accounts.

  • Liaise with other stakeholders with regards to membership in the absence of the marketing manager.

  • Communicate with members about lost replacement cards and deal with queries.

  • Deal with third party contacts in relation to closure of accounts.

  • Compile and maintain reports for the membership activity.

  • Administration and maintenance of the Society reward cards and queries regarding balances.

  • Streamlining ways of working to improve the efficient running of the department and to work to the Society mission and vision/values.

  • Maintenance of database records and working to guidelines.

  • Adhering to processes and procedures.

  • Able to support any tasks and requests from the line manager.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 5 GCSE's grade A-C, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Understanding GDPR procedures (essential)
  • Dealing with customer service queries (essential)
  • Confident in dealing with external customers (essential)
