The Heart of England Co-operative Society is excited to announce the opening of our BRAND NEW food convenience store in Wellingborough this November, and we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience.
  • Efficient Store Operations: Assist with stocking shelves, managing deliveries, and maintaining store cleanliness.
  • Handle Transactions: Operate tills, process payments, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism.
  • Support Colleagues: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Position of responsibility: Supporting in the running of the store and being an integral part of motivating and driving the team. If you have proven yourself as a leader before and have a passion for convenience retail, this is the role for you. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure all areas of the store are taken care of, and act as a role model to the rest of the team in championing the Society’s Value's and behaviours. Our customers will be the focus of everything you do, and you will support in projects within our local communities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Reliable and Punctual: Dependable individuals who can be trusted to meet work commitments.
  • Team Players: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience Preferred but Not Required: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidates.
  • Flexible Availability: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
